Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of mobile applications published by Pixel Arc Labs LLC ("Pixel Arc Labs," "I," "me," or "my"), including ONYX: Bill & Money Tracker ("ONYX" or the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply in addition to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA") where applicable. To the extent of any conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA regarding use of the App on Apple devices, the Apple EULA controls.

The App

ONYX is a personal bill and money tracker for iPhone. The App helps you record bills, accounts, income, and related information. Features may change over time as I improve the App.

ONYX is not a bank, lender, financial advisor, tax preparer, or payment processor. Information in the App is for your personal organization only and should not be treated as financial, legal, or tax advice.

Accounts and your data

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the App lawfully.

You retain ownership of content you enter into the App. You grant me a limited license to host, process, and sync that content solely to operate the App and provide support. How I handle personal information is described in my Privacy Policy .

ONYX Black subscriptions

ONYX Black is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks premium features such as data export, home screen widgets, unlimited accounts, and bank account sync (when available). Free features of ONYX remain available without a subscription.

Billing through Apple

All purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID. I do not collect or store your payment card details. Apple's terms and privacy policy apply to payment processing.

Plans, pricing, and free trials

ONYX Black may be offered as monthly and/or annual subscriptions. Prices are displayed in the App before you confirm a purchase and may vary by region. From time to time I may offer a free trial or introductory period. If a free trial is offered, you will see the trial length and the price that applies after the trial before you subscribe.

Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of a trial or current billing period, your subscription automatically renews and your Apple ID is charged for the next period at the then-current price.

Managing and cancelling

You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings:

Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies; contact Apple Support for billing disputes or refund requests.

Restore purchases

If you reinstall the App or use a new device, use "Restore purchases" in the App to reactivate ONYX Black on the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App, servers, or networks connected to the App
• Access the App through unauthorized automated means
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person

Third-party services

The App may integrate with third-party services (for example, cloud sync, authentication, analytics, or bank linking through Plaid). Those services are governed by their own terms and policies. I am not responsible for third-party services outside my reasonable control.

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. I DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

You use the App at your own risk. You are solely responsible for financial decisions you make and for verifying amounts, due dates, and account information.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIXEL ARC LABS LLC AND ITS OWNER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. MY TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR ONYX BLACK IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Changes

I may update these Terms from time to time. When I do, I will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or on this website. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
